- My boss came around this afternoon to patiently lead me through orthogonal matrices and spectral decomposition using eigenvectors (oh, matrix theory. now I remember why I didn't like you.) so I'm feeling slightly more confident about getting the marking done in time. Slightly.

- We're not going to talk about exam study.

- I HAVE SNOW PATROL TICKETS.

- _leareth has landed a swish lawyer job in Sydney! *\o/* Plus she came around tonight to lend me her Rose Bride costume (which we are adapting to be a Queen of Hearts costume for a party I'm going to) and I have promises of being taken to lunch as a distraction from exams next week, so she's just all-around awesome.

- Another of my favourite people just now is brynnmck, who sent me a postcard with a MOUNTIE on it (<333) and has also written some seriously superb Hard Core Logo fic: Nothing But Distance And Skyline, Joe/Billy, pre-movie.

Fahye, glad to hear that you got Snow Patrol tickets-they are an excellent band, I wish you loads of fun!
As for something going well for me- After being unemployed for over a month, I got a new job with "A Very Large DOD and Airplane Company" where I will be paid more hourly than I have ever made before in my life-doing environmental work, which I love!
