uh...

You know, it's technically still summer.

Only in Canberra.

The ANU campus is closed for the day, which I found out about on the bus (...) So I turned around in the middle of the city, gawked at the enormous piles of hail for a while, and then caught another bus back home. Mixed blessing - Wednesdays are my Days From Hell, and as much as I appreciate an extra day to do assignments and lie in bed with tissues and warm drinks...this is going to royally fuck up my courses. This wipes six hours of lectures and a three hour immunology lab completely off the slate. I don't know if/how the lecturers are going to make it up.

This must be what snow days are like! Except with bonus massive amounts of structural damage.

Ah, Canberra. I do not miss your insane weather one bit.

Mostly because now I live in Melbourne and our weather is just a woman and can never make up its damn mind. Still less extreme than Canberra though, so that's a plus.

Yeah, Canberra weather is also a woman, but one with VIOLENCE ISSUES. Or maybe permanent PMS.

Zomg, it is hailing here too today. GLOBAL WEATHER, WHY SO CRACKY? (Don't answer that.)
