Another ficathon

Well, I just signed up for remixredux - what with that and Yuletide, I'm feeling very Active In Fandom, despite my current writer's block. I nominated SG:A as one of my favoured fandoms because its characters are kind of insidious, and I think this could be a good way to ease myself into writing them.

(Though knowing my luck I'll get assigned someone who only writes, say, AU Elizabeth/Teyla BDSM fics, and spend a month kicking myself.)

Will obviously read whatever you come up with, provided I know the fandom. Should make an effort to get into BSG, I guess. :D

This ficathon strikes me as rather a gamble. I may well end up tearing my hair out over it. But the more direct the guidelines are, when I have a block, the easier it is to produce something.

I have tracked down exactly two SG:A icons, but I feel they encompass everything that I like about the fandom, to wit: female civilian in charge of crazyass sprawling mission, and those little moments just after McKay has finished explaining something at the speed of light and Sheppard is seriously considering just shooting everything that moves rather than try to work out what the hell he just said.
