mystery of the scary wick

I'm sitting here on Dimitri with my huge blueberry candle burning away beside me and the wick has become WARPED AND WEIRD and has a strnge blobby bit at the top that is causing the flame to wobble erratically. Ah well.
My day, in review:
Woke up.
Cleaned house frantically for two hours to earn MONEY.
Had quick lunch.
Drove to Woden having argument with mother over my PRIORITIES. She's gotten over the "hurrah she has a social life" and is now going on "your social life is interfering with other more IMPORTANT things ie. DRIVING LESSONS" I hate driving lessons, I'm scared of the clutch.
Pleasant shopping experience involving consumption of cookies and alarming release of hard-earned MONEY.
Movie. Wolverine hot but ridiculously masculine and... gah. Hard to explain, but hilarious. Pyro very cool indeed. Iceman a Riley-type Cardboard Man with no personality at all. Am being coerced by Mel into agreeing that Gambit should show up and kick his ass, as he would be much better for Rogue. Jean annoying. Amount of helpful lines that allowed one to slash Cyclops and Wolverine: many. Including "where's my warm welcome?" Heh.
Dinner. Pizza and other horribly bad but delicious foods. More money gone, but in a good cause. I now have $5. *sighs* I'll feel much better when my anime order arrives.
Home. Watched 1 1/2 DVDs worth of Orphen. Pissed off at Azalie the manipulating bitch and Orphen's unhealthy obsession with her in the manner of Vash and Rem or similar. Cleao annoying. Trolls annoying. Magik sensible and therefore tolerable. Orphen's hotness one of few redeeming features. Sorry, Kenshin is better as a series.
And am now on computer nervously awaiting return of family and being kicked into bed with reminders of 9-5 gang show tomorrow.
Just downloaded Lovesong, discovered that I HAVE heard it after all. Not as good as Bring Me To Life though. Want to download more stuff! I have a whole month ahead of me! Someone tell me a cool song to download!
Thanks to Teegs and Eujar for support and interest in my pathetic depression. As for details... may write some letters. I'll see.

AND SCARY!!! and... *sob*... it makes the car stall... *I speak from experience ^-^* but I do believe I have the right to complain... Yeah, I agree- Jean WAS annoying. I felt a bit guilty at the time, but I was secretly hoping she would die. Then she did, and I secretly began rejoicing. No more stupid cannonical love scenes to get in the way of beautiful Logan/Scott slash! Actually, the bit with them that I thought was sweet was after she died, and Scott started sobbing in Logan's arms. ^ ^
