a hundred thousand flaws

Just to satisfy my own curiosity...how many of you lot now watch/have watched/are in the process of watching BSG? You seem to be popping out of the woodwork all over the place.

(And I've only been raving about it for what, over a year now? VICTORY AT LAST! No, shh, I'm claiming credit. Donnez-moi cette illusion.)

I'm trying to care about microbiology. I'm trying very hard. But it's my last exam, the coursework is dull, and I can think of ten things off the top of my head that I'd rather be doing. My normal self-delusions about willpower and discipline are crumbling somewhat, and I'm waking up to the fact that I've spent the past two weeks pretty much alone. Q is at work or at her boyfriend's more often than not, and the only people I've talked to recently have been my immediate family.

One of these days I will forget how to function in a social situation. It'll probably be funny.

O FOOL, I SHALL GO MAD!

Picked up the miniseries tonight.

Excellent, excellent.

I began watching it mid season 2, my brothers were watching it downstairs one night and I decided to sit down with them. At that point I really had no clue what the hell was going on and who the 'good guys' were etc.
What I did know was that I wanted to see more of Jamie Bamber....

Now I'm lovin' it, and not just because of Jamie :)

I started it Friday, just finished now watching 1x05.

And this is on essay-due-on-Monday schedule.

Oh, man, just wait. JUST WAIT. 1x08/9/10/11 is my favourite four-episode run of ANY TV series EVER.

I have an exam tomorrow.

I was never able to get both halves and at this point it seems so far in the past that I've stopped trying. I would watch it like, on DVD though.

You. Me. March. MINISERIES.

(I have forgotten your DOA, by the way. Again. Friday 2nd?)

Prooobably? See if there is a chatlog.

I should DL it though, because I want to make icons . . .

Gmail is being unhelpful in that regard, which means we might have discussed it on AIM. Or I am using the wrong search terms.

Well. Yes. You should!

[identity profile] tropes.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I watch it when I don't forget. XD

I'm up to date, barring last Friday's.

Gotta say though, the marathon catch-up was the result of threeway joint pressure from your and Caleb's LJs, and IM raving from [livejournal.com profile] dramaturgca.
