(fandom snobbery ahead)

I think I just vomited a little on the inside of my head.

*cries*

[livejournal.com profile] nostalgia_lj was talking about how fandom pretty much sucks at writing Jack/Ten (except she doesn't) and dammit, dammit, now I'm tempted.

(She's right about Ten being a horribly needy person, though. Nobody could be quite enough. JI. JI. HE'S LIKE...THOM, ONLY MARGINALLY LESS GAY, AND A LITTLE MORE INSANE.)

Teaspoon looks like a decent site, all told. I've stuck my two fics on there. I haven't the foggiest what the little thumbs-up next to a fic title means, but they've materialised next to mine, so for the sake of my ego I'll assume...good?

What's that? Health psych exam tomorrow? Yes, yes, I know.

*goes back to typing up notes about chronic pain management*

MORE insane?!

OK, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO ABOUT THIS FANDOM? YOU NEED TO STORE ALL YOUR EPISODES ON DVDS AND IN MARCH, WE WILL EITHER HAVE A MARATHON, OR YOU WILL GIVE ME COPIES TO LOVE AND TO CHERISH, FOREVER AND EVER.

(Hi, I'm a random person who found your lj through "Teaspoon". *waves*)

There are two modes of review on Teaspoon. The long kind (leaving an actual written review) and the lazy kind (choosing 'like it', 'dislike it' or 'no opinion'). The thumbs-up means lazy people liked your fic (or people who left reviews chose both options).

I also thank you for starting my day with badfic (it made me laugh), and for remedying said badfic with Nos's stuff, which always rocks.

Hi! And thanks for clearing that up, I was just squinting at them dubiously.

Ohhhh, badfic. Badfic, badfic, badfic. I managed to click on an extreme example and felt that the trauma should be shared.

That *was* pretty extreme badness there. I kept thinking it must be a parody, but none of the usual tip-offs (Evanescence and such) were present, so I was forced to conclude the pain was genuinely meant.

Oh god, those stories are horrific. Ugh.

You seriously need to write some good Jack/Ten. I whole heartedly support it ;D
