Grey's 3x06 - Let The Angels Commit
ALEX FUCKING KAREV + THE VAGINA SQUAD = OTP
That is all.
I really, really enjoyed this episode. The jokes made me laugh, the sad bits made me sad. I think everyone's storylines and insecurities just cohered really beautifully, and the Relevance Of The Patients Of The Week didn't seem forced at all ("Did you just call me a pig?" <--- Callie FTW, especially since she also snarked at McSteamy, who, just, WHY IS HE EVEN HERE, BEING MEAN TO ALEX LIKE THAT, can we please kill him and replace him with Nancy? Just as much torment for Derek, more awesome women, less McSleazing.)
Although that one shot where they were all chatting and Derek took one look at them and fled for the lifts was great.
(Nancy! That actress played one of Jordan's hilarious bitchy friends in Scrubs S2? S3? Anyway. Clearly she goes in for being the gal-pal of awesome women on medical shows.)
Cristina and Burke are doing painful things to my heart and not in the exciting scalpel sense. She has pretty much put aside everything in her life to help him get through this with his career and his reputation intact - though she's also getting enormous amounts of surgeries, which I think probably goes a long way in her mind towards justifying it - and they've become this desperate dual solipsism who are hurting a lot of people.
AND OH BAILEY
AND THE CHIEF AND HIS BUTTON
So, yeah. Now that Addison is no longer angsting over McDreamy she is returning to her former state of coolness, the scene in Old Guy's room was uncomfortable and fast and VERY well done, George and Meredith can, surprisingly, bring out the best in each other, and because it bears repeating: Alex + babiez = OTP

You sew this on for me, and I'll get rid of Addison and Sloane.
Really?
No.
CHIEF!
And I so can't figure out why McSteamy is randomly walking around being an ass to people. He has some issues that I just don't get.
I love that Alex has realized his baby love. It's so cute, and it might make me fainly like him.
