HAHAHAHAHA it's like Alien vs. Predator: The Bitchfight

Okay.

Return to your lives.

(Expect less flippant additions to this post as I actually finish the episode.)

ETA:

Yes, okay, Russell T. Davies is a heartless heartless man. My fingers are sort of itching to write something fixey (OH WHAT. LIKE THAT WASN'T YOUR FIRST URGE TOO.) but I actually quite like the parallel-Torchwoods idea. After all: the Doctor doesn't know everything :D If there's one thing we've been shown by the continual Deux Ex Daleking (you know what I mean), it's that there's always some little pocket of something that's been overlooked.

I am so writing Jack-and-Rose fic. With or without the Doctor. Probably without. (But with MICKEY and GWEN and AWESOMENESS.)

But first: exam study.

(Anticlimax of my life!)

Ahahaha, the Dalek-Cyberman bitchfight wins everything ever.

And yes, I had to fight not to write something fixey. And then I calmed down a bit and wrote this (http://jezrana.livejournal.com/195221.html#cutid1) instead. *end self-pimping*

*reads like the wind* Awwwww, Jez :) My heart feels a lot better now.

And what's a little self-pimping between friends?

*coughs* (http://mercurial-wit.livejournal.com/34639.html)

I certainly like that the new Daleks have a sense of humour. They are a billion time more interesting than in the original series (although I did LOVE them in the original). Now they're megalomaniacs with witty repartee. Cool.

I just wish the Dalek storylines (and storylines in general) went on for a bit longer. In fact that is main problem with the whole new series is it feels WAY to compressed and the story resolutions often reflect that: "Oh hey, look all our enemies just happen to covered in convenient plot device *ahem* I mean void stuff. We can suck 'em back into the void, my eccentric 3D glasses wearing habits have paid off. Aren't I clever?"

*emergency (opening for future Dalek episodes) temporal shift*

Never-the-less I await third season with great anticipation.
