All right, a proper update. I'm declaring my hiatus over as of now, a few days earlier than I'd planned, largely because I'm going to be sitting here most of the night writing an essay and...company would be nice, even if it's in the form of LJ comments. The last day of classes of the second year of my degree is this Friday - I have three assignments due that day, and being rid of them will be a marvellous feeling. Four exams after that, and then I'm free for the summer.

Over the past almost-month I have discovered and become addicted to Great Big Sea, rediscovered the enormous love I have for the Lord of the Rings movies, done my usual amount of stressing about uni stuff, and gleefully celebrated the premiere of Torchwood. I have some comments on it (such as: holy shit, Carys does look exactly like chaos_pockets) but they can wait until I have a bit more leisure time.

So, flist. Wassup?

ETA: Oh, yes, I feel it important to note that tonight I adopted the Veronica Mars concept of 'Dessert For Dinner Night'. I made French toast covered in mixed berries and maple syrup*. SO good. You have no idea. It was like lots of tiny orgasms in my mouth.


*Okay, maple flavoured syrup. Sorry, Canadians, I can't stand the real stuff. I realise this makes me a dirty heathen.
