the world doesn't end because the Doctor dances

I am experiencing a direct and painful clash between my resolution not to complain so much (because really, I just whine all the time, I don't know how you lot put up with me) and my discovery of the fact that everything I could possibly say at this point in time is a complaint.

*twiddles thumbs, manic smile on face*

Oh, right, the end-of-semester exam timetable is up and I actually have a friendly amount of time between my exams. This is a Good Thing, and this will continue to be a Good Thing despite the fact that Q only has one exam and it's on the first day of exams and then she's finished, dammit, it WILL.

I'm going to go and make lunch and think lovely cheerful thoughts of bloodshed and violence about my health psychology assignment now :D

Je veux a letter about bloodshed and violence and other healthful psychologies!

AAAAAAAAAAAAUUUURRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

That was nice and cathartic.

No, the problem is not that I am lazy (even though I am) and want to just curl up on the couch and watch VMars (even though I do), but rather the UNSPEAKABLE IDIOCY that went into the design of this experiment. Trying to pull a decent 50% lab report out of the data and provided aims is like trying to make a three-course meal out of a bag of potatoes, a box of cocoa and two different types of vinegar.

Dude, if only you got credit for making metaphors like that one.

I ran the spring OR Easter break + 1 week idea past my mother, and she was unenthused, but not entirely against it. I think if I get a job it will be on.

Give me dates again!

Mmm, your spring breaks isn't as good because of me being buried in uni work by then and not actually having free time. Early March is still good but your break then was quite short. Um. If you want any decent amount of time at all, I think July is your best bet. Is there anything wrong with July apart from the cold? WHICH WILL BE MEDIATED BY CENTRAL HEATING OF BLISS, PLEASE RECALL.

All my breaks are quite short (i.e. a week or less) except Christmas (two weeks) and summer (months).

I want to study abroad this summer, which might put July out, depending on the program. I think the latest any program I'm really considering could get out would be July 7. ?

Meaning that you'd be free after July 7?

Email me, I need to attack this assignment for a while. Le sigh.

After July 7 if I get what I really want (German). Earlier if I get something else. Although: that would be kind of hard on me as far as downtime between travel goes, and also might make my family a little tossy about the amount of time I spend at home vs. overseas.

Will e-mail.

Um. Yes. You do that.

*sidles away*

Good luck?
