THWANGGGGGG!!!!
That was me bouncing off the walls. I have so much damn energy, where did it all come from??? Late at night, EVERYONE else is in bed, and I have just finished eating gourmet pizza and reading through FOUR DAYS WORTH of friends' entries. My GOODNESS you people need hobbies.
Replies to various things are going to be oart of this entry as I cannot be bothered to comment separately:
- Okay Teegs, you were right. They were comment WARS. Whew. I would feel quite scared if attacked like that. Shall be quite amusing if Pimpin' Tegan hates Madam Alice, though. Good plot device.
- ALIII I cannot see the background for the community help what's wrong?? Did other people have this problem too?? Also cannot see ANY of you picture links OR the background to your LJ. May just be Dimitri being sulky, but I dunno...
- Everyone who bought manga - I wants to read it, pleeease! When possible, anyway. Especially Mars 9...
- I need no stupid guestbooky website to marry Aoshi!!! He is MINE ANYWAY!! At the moment I'm in the middle of Kenshin Episode 51. So much Aoshiness. Mmmmmm. And Misao is 16! So I am eeeeeexactly the right age hahahahaaha. *coughs* Sorry.
Back to normal entry now. Will not rant about Dragon Skin too much, basically the weather was dodgy as all hell but on the whole it was not an unbearable experience. Here are some high/low points:
- Saw a guy who looked like Wakka (sp? FFX guy), another who looked like NEO (mmm) and another who looked like a young and hot Kenneth Branagh.
- Hot guy in my team who played Spike looked JUST like him only slightly more tanned (half-Italian), was scary but very cool indeed. We did a Buffy roleplay for a Buffy-obsessed base and got full points, ha.
- Saw a shirt that was black and had a huge swirly B on the back in silver. Rather liked. Needed two Bs though.
- Ate dodgy-ass hike food for four days and then discovered how wonderful McNuggets are when they're the first proper food you've had in AGES.
- Hiked through MUD MUD MORE MUD for ages and had to pack tents in the rain. Horrible experience, NEVER try it. Gyah.
- Simple things seem so nice when you are deprived of them. Showers. Heat. Matresses. Toilets. Appreciate them, people!!
- When it was REALLY bad I followed Ali's advice and made up a fantasy excuse for WHY I had to endure four days of mud and hell. It was a lovely story. It involved Aoshi. It made no sense. But it was cool anyway.
- By the end of it I was sick of my team. I love my Venturer friends, I really do, but they grated on my nerves after living with them, basically because I have nothing in COMMON with them at heart. You may or may not be gratified to know that I missed you all. A LOT. There, that's my sentiment for the month out the way ;-)
ANIME CLUB WAS GREAT! I am so glad I was finally able to go, but now I have been exposed to it I shall die if I cannot go every week!! MORE GUU!!!!! And I am ashamed to admit that I rather liked Princess Tutu. It made no sense! And the ballet footwork was annoyingly overdone! But I liked the idea of it being acted out as a ballet, and I liked Fakia and sort of liked Mute, who is a Yuki/Haru crossbreed. No idea what the plot it, but I liked it anyway. Shun me now if you wish.
X!!! OMG SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I WAAAAAAAAANT IT!! So glad I'm collecting the manga, should ahve enough for the second one soon - where can I buy it, does anyone know? Apparently the early ones are hard to find. May just buy MB 6 instead off TAmarket.

Find out which Discworld guy you are.
I think I may have rigged that one. Ah well.
Tomorrow will do some more homework, possibly have a driving lesson, and write a couple of difficult emails to various people. Also hopefully watch some more Kenshin/Orphen.

do i get a difficult email? because i'd like to write you one except apparently we should tell you in person. gah.

yes, one of the difficult emails is for you and ali and mel. (the others are for the gang show personnel director and my work experience supervisor, so they're not really a big deal) I'm fine talking to you as well if that's what you'd like to do.
