Grey's casting stuff
- JIIIII, I've reached the episode with John Cho. I think I like this surgeon character better than the autoasphyxia dude.
- Is that Chris O'Donnell? Omg. HI CHRIS.
- The girl who plays Callie got a Tony for playing The Lady Of The Lake in Spamalot. That's awesome. SHE SINGS. Callie should sing.
- Kate Walsh is hot. (I realise that this is not news.)
~
ETA: BONUS ACTOR SPAMMAGE, because I looked up the guy who played Ramos in Take The Lead and confirmed my suspicions that he played Rufio (sorry: RU!FI!OOOOOO!) in Hook. And apparently, he voices Prince Zuko in, oh, some little cartoon show that my flist has mentioned once or twice recently.
Heh.

Also, I dislike Callie. She loses at life.

I like Callie. She's an orthopod, like my father, so I support her on principle. And she has cool hair. And she's very open in some ways and very closed in others.

Tris and I have long held the fact that we have not seen Take the Lead as one of the great failures of our lives.
And Callie is made of win and I love Kate Walsh.
HI FAHYE!

Every second that Meredith and Derek do not have frantic outmaking up against the wall of the elevator, I get that little bit more frustrated.
As I told Carrie: I am equally in love with Addison/Derek and Meredith/Derek (I think Patrick Dempsey could have chemistry with, like, a watering can) and have come to the conclusion that they should just adopt her. For sex.
Although, dammit, ChrisFinn The Vet is kind of growing on me.

I LIKE Dr. Chris. He births ponies. In what world can that suck?

It's a pity he's such a plot device. He cooks!

I'd be such a fab supervillain.

It's not spectacular, but it's got DANCING in it so I could hardly dislike it. And there's a fantastic three-way tango scene which Dante Basco is part of that kind of made my stomach squirm in appreciation.
HI RAWLES! I am up to 2x25, though I am irritated because I am missing 2x22.

Oh, we want to see it because 1) Zuko ballroom dancing is GOLD, 2) Yaya from America's Next Top Model is also present, 3) It is about BALLROOM DANCING INNER CITY KIDS, 4) "The kids sullenly resist this intruder with his silly box-steps, but gradually succumb to the allure of passion channeled into physical grace."
I heard of the three-way tango scene. That is a bonus.
None of these reasons are the expectation that it would ever be...er...TRADITIONALLY GOOD AS A MOVIE.
All Grey's episodes run together for me! SO I DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU MISSED OR WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN.

Um...Burke is currently not speaking to Cristina because she fell asleep during sex (AHAHAHA), all the girls dislike Callie (WHHHY?) and Derek and Meredith are being frosty to each other about Dr Chris and allegations of whoritude, and Addison just asked if they were all still friends and they were in THE ELEVATOR OF SEX and omg, they are all so PRETTY. Threesomes are the way forward, people.
*smushes them together*

OKAY I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. Izzie and Meh dislike Callie because sometimes they are hofaces. Sadly, though I have a love for threesomes and, indeed, just wrote a post about one, I am like Tris in that I ship Derek/Spontaeneous Combustion.
But I am extraordinarily fond of ADDISON/EVERYONE AWESOME, and, you know, that can have threesomes. Like HADDISON/ALEX FUCKING KAREV/MCSTEAMY. Mmmm, good times.

Dante Basco aka RU!FI!OOOO is the voice of the angsty and hilarious Prince Zuko on the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender which is right now pretty much my most beloved thing ever about which I blather constantly, but usually behind cuts so that 95% of my flist can scroll on by.
I wanted to see Take the Lead because he was in it and I loved RU!FI!O which led into me loving Zuko.
But before I even knew he was in it, I knew that Yaya, who was a contestant on my one true reality television love the Tyra Banks-run America's Next Top Model during my favourite season ever, was in the movie and wanted to see it.
SO YEAH. YOU OVERLOOKED TWO FANDOMS. TWO FANDOMS MADE OF AWESOME IN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WAYS.

My desire to have HOOK on DVD has only increased since last night. This is sort of scary.
