jiggity jig

Home. Safe. Cold. Not as cold as I remember, though I think Canberra is being nice and slowly easing me into the whole 'winter' concept again.

Have been awake for god knows how many hours. Somehow managed to end up in Economy Plus on the way from SF to Sydney, and although I haven't the foggiest what the difference is between that and normal Economy, it was MAGICALLY SUPERIOR to my first trans-Pacific flight in almost every possible way, so, um, well done United Airlines. I watched some movies. I ate some surprisingly palatable airline food. I am not quite sure what is currently keeping my eyelids open.

I bought Stephen King's 'On Writing' at the airport and read it on the plane, and I really wish I was more awake so that I could rave about how awesome that man is and how much sense he makes and how I would be writing right now if it weren't for the alarming sleep deprivation and the to-do list that ate Manhattan.

I am going to go nap. And then unpack. And then deal with all of my mail. And then sort out uni stuff.

Expect a semi-comprehensive Millicon report later :)

That book is the best writing book.

EVER.

And welcome back! And no, it's not nearly as cold as it's been.

Hey you! Have a good time in Brisbane. And I sadly couldn't get hold of QaF for you, but I've checked the prices on Amazon and I think you'll be able to get it on their website for pretty much the same as it would have cost me to get it for you at cheapest price.

But I have seasons 2,3 & 5. WE SHOULD MARATHON.

I've always wanted to read that book. Mental note to self: do so. Glad you got home safely!
