I have been relocated! West coast to east coast. I am now safely ensconced at the house of strange_selkie, darthrami and chaos_pockets, and have also met lunamystic (who is smaller than I imagined!) and villainny (who has saved my accent from the dastardly flattening influence of schiarire).

There are, indeed, cats. They refrained from jumping on me in the middle of the night, so I'm sure we'll be able to get along fine.

Welcome to D.C. You're about 8 miles away from me. Have a lot of fun with your hosts! Get some gelato at the National Gallery of Art, go to the top of the Washington monument, be awed by the modern art at the Hirshorn, check out fossils and gems at the National Museum of Natural History, shop, eat, be happy!
