Deck the halls with brandy-laced custard... *hiccups*
No actually I have been a good girl, mostly due to the fact that the brandy custard tasted hideous coz parents bought the wrong brand. I am currently hiding downstairs from all scary relatives, having opened all my prezzies. Have had a request from Eugenie to know what they were:
Parents - mobile phone
Brother - cool sports watch thingo with annoyingly slightly too-large strap

Grandparents - stuff. money. books (sara douglass)
Other relatives - hmm. chrissie decoration (WHY?? pointless! cheap! grr!!) The Battle of Evernight (by request) Book voucher (i have way too mnay of them now)
Yaa can't be bothered to go on. Eugenie, if you are reading this, CALL ME, onegai? I keep meaning to call you but am too lazy. Maybe will try tomorrow. Maybe.
Hah have finally watched dodgy hong kong teen movie. My oh my the weirdness... It would go under the category, as Miko no da would say, of PWP. (plot? what plot?) I think it also wins awards for SWS (script? what script?) and AWA (acting? what acting?. Also DTSAHDVS. (dodgily translated subtitles and horrible double vocal soundtrack). Ah well entertained me for a while.
Have also finished Mobius. The love dialogue is sooo cute... but it has irrevocably spoiled my perception of FY. Will not be able to watch it without automatically making Chichiri and Tasuki a pair. Only annoying bit was the way Tasuki said "ya" for "you" and "ta" for "to" all the time.
Well hope everyone has / had a wonderful Christmas. I am ready to strangle the next person who even mentions carols because I am all carolled out due to midnight service last night AND one this morning. Running round Manuka with Emily and Maddy and Jono and staying at Starbucks half an hour after closing time so that Em and Mad could finish their chess game was fun, though.

Ginta likes Miki, she likes Ginta AND Yuu. We're not sure who Yuu likes coz he's so mysterious and closed off. Arimi likes Yuu but pretends to go out with Ginta to make Miki and Yuu jealous. Meiko is having an affair (kinda) with Nachan, the young teacher. There's a guy called Tsutomo who's in love with Arimi. He's Ginta's cousin but no-one likes him. Lotsa stuff happens, including Nachan quits when his and Meiko's relationship is discovered. Miki goes through all sorts of personal dramas, as per usual. The weirdo parents get married officially. At end of 3rd book we meet Miwa. See the "Fahye Azzaran, PI" entry in my LJ for details. Miki is pretty sure she's in love with Yuu but still likes Ginta quite a lot (damn indecisive girl). There - any questions???

Have you read much else of Miko no da's stuff? Most of it is kinda repetetive Chichiri/Tasuki stuff except for a random one with Nuriko. Good mindless entertainment.
