sitrep as of this freezing Friday

I have:

- three new chilblains (ow)
- awesome new hair
- numb toes
- two exams that I should be studying for right now
- a desire to write fic for a book that nobody has read but me, and even I am only halfway through

Ooh we must have pictures of the new hair. Or better yet maybe we could hang out before your trip, I haven't seen you for AGES! (_leareth and I have been talking about meeting up for yonks too so maybe I could kill two birds with one stone)

*Ahem* I ask that you forgive my ignorance but-what are "chilblains"? I'm an american and have never heard the term before. Perhaps this is an exotic foriegn term for something mundane under a different name?

I'm not sure if you call them something else in America, but Wikipedia is pretty forthcoming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilblains) :)

I have shitass circulation and no heating in my apartment, so...yeah. Fingers and toes, covered in them.
