Shit shit shit shit shit I know better than to start idly reading manga scans. Especially when the best character turns out to be a GAY DOCTOR, and the series itself turns out to be 23 volumes long.

I am up to volume 16. I am mildly (mildly!) in love with Umeda.

Caleb, Ji, Heater, Rami...I don't know what to say. You lot shouldn't be allowed to play in the same sandpit. SEPARATE CORNERS OF THE ROOM! NOW!

Genetics test in two days. I am so sick of genetics. No more genetics for me after this semester. WOO.

I was totally behind Akiha/Umeda until there was that digression into Umeda's time at school with whatshisface and omg, I fell so hard for that relationship. And it seems a lot darker/more mature than any other pairing that's pushed in the manga. But really, I am happy with Umeda/anyone.

I wanted Nakao to be happy ;_;

I think my favourite part was the way the POV switched around. You didn't just get Mizuki's perspective on everything, you got to see what Sano was thinking a lot of the time, and Nakatsu, and a lot of different people. I don't think I've seen that a lot in shoujo.

Mizuki grated a little at times, but not nearly as much as most heroines, and I loved Sano. Admittedly my first thought at discovering the premise was DEAR GOD IT'S 'SHE'S THE MAN' IN MANGA FORM but I did like the way the idea was handled.
