Well, nice to know that I've gotten my annual leaving-an-expensive-possession-on-a-bus out of the way for 2006.
ACTION's customer service as regards lost property is a joke. I had to ring, explain that yes, I left my laptop on the 30. Yes, I'm aware that the Lost Property offices are in Tuggeranong and Belco, but I'm also aware that the 30 terminates in Woden so maybe someone could hold it at the office there for me? Yes? Shall I leave my details? Okay? YES? THANK YOU.
Half an hour later I rang back to be told that oh, yeah, it's at the office, they just forgot to call back and tell me. Because clearly nobody needs their fucking laptop as a matter of urgency.
In other news, it's still cold. How much am I looking forward to getting three weeks of American summer smack bang in the middle of July, most miserable month ever? THIS MUCH.
I don't know how I am expected to get any work done at all when I have found a site with delectable clips from S1/2/3 of QaF available to download, so that if I feel like watching the Forever Young scene for the ten billionth time I can just click on a playlist instead of having to insert the DVD, skip through the scenes...
