Last bout of wistful TV babble for now, cross my heart, but I made the mistake of downloading a Doctor/Rose vid and it had some footage from the only DW episode I've actually seen - the one with Charles Dickens! - and now I am totally besotted with Christopher Whatsisface's smile, which is fine because I was totally besotted with David Tennant's yonks ago.

baggers? I don't suppose you still have that rego code for DVD/CSS Region Free lying around and could email it to me, do you?
And does anyone want to tell me how, exactly, one imports one's old Favourites list into a new version of Firefox? It doesn't seem to recognise the files.
AND (last one!) I appear to have lost the Firefox add-on that lets you quickly log in and out of different LJ accounts, so if someone has the link to that...

Point of awesome #74 about having a widescreen laptop: I can use one ofcarrielh's gorgeous backgrounds and still have some space to either side to put all of my shortcuts and thumbnails, so the graphics aren't cluttered up *pleased*

And it's funny that you mention my wallpapers. I often find it hilarious that I make them 1024x768 but have a widescreen laptop my own self, but every time I try to actually make one that fits my resolution it's too weird. The only success with that I've ever had is this Farscape one (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y63/carrielh/johnaerynanswer.jpg).

I think it's great! The only reason I never really use people's wallpapers is because I don't like shoving shortcuts on top of them, but this solves the problem nicely. I'm using your one with the Run lyrics right now and it's beeeeautiful :)

And why can't you just download the Doctor Who, woman? Is it something to do with those wacky downloading limits in Australia?

Yeah, kind of. I'm on a plan that I don't want to change off because it's not too expensive and the server is very reliable - I have a fairly good monthy dl limit and unlimited off-peak dls, which is what I'd need to use for getting episodes without going over the limit, but off-peak is midnight-6am. And I have to go to BED before midnight or else I DIE.
On top of that, for some reason my Internet gets slower and slower and slower when dling large files - I actually managed to get about half of a BSG episode once before it just ground to a sulky halt and refused to go any further. Music files and most fanvids are fine.
