Baby's first ficathon! I've never done one of these before. This one looks like fun :D I shall write it when I am meant to be studying for exams. Hurrah.

There are two human types, basically, people who bottle their emotions up and people who let it all come roaring out. Introverts and extraverts, if you prefer. Introverts, as is well known, tend to internalise their emotions, their rage and their self-contempt, and this internalisation, it is equally well known, produces cancer. Extraverts, on the other hand, let joyous rip, rage at the world, divert their self-contempt onto others, and this over-exertion, by logical process, causes heart attacks. It's one or the other. Now I happen to be an extravert, so if I compensate by smoking this will keep me a perfectly balanced and healthy human being. That's my theory. On top of which, I'm addicted to nicotine, and that makes it easier to smoke.'
