Signs you may be a little too used to LJing your life away, #23487:

Standing in JB Hifi with the first season of Arrested Development in one hand and the second season of Deadwood in the other, you think: I CANNOT DECIDE. I SHOULD MAKE A POLL.

But hey, I'd most likely have ended up shelling out $40 for something called TICKYBOX!!1, so whatever.

(Craving silliness rather than gritty-thinky stuff, I bought AD. It is sitting here staring at me and ARGH I SHOULD BE WORKING THIS WAS SUCH A BAD IDEA.)

Arrested Development is really quite fabulous. I resisted watching for a while, but now I have the first season downloaded and I'm loving it. It makes me laugh, which is priceless nowadays.

I just watched the pilot. I LOVE IT ALREADY.

And okay, I think I may be vaguely biased by incestous hints picked up in the fandomly ether, but Michael and Lindsay are, um. ADORABLE.

I blame the Poodles for that. Seriously.

I don't even ship Michael/Lindsay!

...I ship him with his brother. SHUT UP it's totally canon.

Heee. GOB/Michael OTP.

Well fine, but I know Rawles at least has a Michael/Lindsay icon (which I think was made by yooooou!)

Indeed! She prefers M/L. But the joy of AD is that there is intentionally implied incest between practically every two Bluths you can think of. I just love them all (and have always been devoted to George Michael/Maeby, of course), so no shipwars here, y'know?

I do not actually ship any Bluths. But I think we can all agree on George Michael/Maeby.

"He's a good kisser!" "He's your COUSIN." "Oh, it's okay. He's my first cousin."
