I STILL LOVE YOU ALL. BUT.

Screw you all for sons of bitches, you're too damn interesting.

By the time the apartment gets proper Internet access (which has now been pushed back whilst the guy buys a router and Q and I try and coordinate our busy schedules, and so could take up to another week) my friends list will be at skip 78364340 and I will go insane trying to read it all.

(SAY SORRY for the constant delays, Jubal-Early-Doomers. Life is not on our side.)

In more positive news, I have new hair! If it were blonde I would look preeeeecisely like Starbuck circa Colonial Day, but it is not blonde. It is a nice shade of coffee-brown. I look vaguely flapperish. Half of me wants to put on a fringed dress and drink a lot of illegal cocktails and be morally ambiguous, and the other half wants to go kick someone's ass. Ah, characterised identity confusion.

I don't hate my fic as much any more. Ji is a darling and has sent me sensible but encouraging criticism. I expect I'll actually post on Monday once I have surgically removed a few adjectives.

“Your call, Apollo,” Dee says.

Helo shifts the lollipop to the other side of his mouth and extends a finger through the bars of the brig to poke Lee in the arm. “Better be nice, Apollo, we’re giving up our breaks to hang out in the brig and play cards with you two miscreants.”

“And if we cheat you’ll what, hit us?” Kara raps her knuckles against the bars and smiles.

“Dee, surely we can find something long and pointy?”

Lee coughs and tosses some cubits onto the pile. “I see your twenty and raise you…another twenty.”

Kara laughs, running her tongue over her lip, blowing smoke in his direction. “Someone’s confident.”

“Bet your ass, Starbuck.”

“Apollo,” she murmurs, smirking outrageously. “I’m flattered. Anyone else up for that bet?”

“Stakes are too petty for my liking,” Helo says, shooting her a challenging look over the top of his cards.

“Oh, Helo, you wouldn’t know what to do with my ass even if you did win it. Or Apollo’s, for that matter.”

Helo removes his lollipop with pointed delicacy. “Is that a bet?”

Dee snorts into the back of her hand.

I guess the fact that the Season 2 of BSG (up to and including Epiphanies) is in the mail and should be with you shortly will just provide more distraction... *glee!*

Good luck with the surgery - I'm looking forward to the post-op based on the cookie.

This is me worshipping at your LITERAL FEET, OH MY GOD.

As soon as I've watched it you have to request a fic from me. Anything you want. Hold me to it.

S'all good... I'm pretty sure the eps will lead to lots of lovely fic from you and that's nothing but shiny.

I forgot to say that due to technological moronitude I couldn't burn the eps as DVDs... they'll play on DVD players with DivX capability but maybe not on yours.

However they will play on any computer with a CD drive and a DivX player. A free DivX player download is available here (http://www.divx.com/divx/play/download/)

They should also play ok in media player (they did on my four year old computer ;o).
