lost: $145 gained: shiny new technology!
Oh my god.
I have SPEAKERS.
I have a SUBWOOFER.
I think this is called GEEK BLISS, or possibly just HURRAH MY MUSIC SOUNDS AMAZING.
I also have a 100GB external hard drive, which is a VAST improvement on Marius' 30GB and will free up his memory so that I don't have to wait for ages before anything happens. I need a French character name for it, in the tradition of Camille and Marius. I'd call it Grantaire, but I don't want it to be drunk and ineffectual.
My speakers are adorable and identical and thus have been christened (naturally) Thom and Alanna. Alanna is the one that everything plugs into and the volume is controlled through - Thom just sits there and looks pretty.
I'm considering calling the subwoofer Raven. I think he'd like that. Ba-BUM-BUM-BUM.
