Me: Ugh. I wish I knew why our Internet is so slow lately.
Housemate 2: Yeah, I know.
Housemate 1: What? The Internet is so fast! Faster than at uni, even!

Me: *points out her attempt to download a file, which is stuck on 3.9 KB/sec*
Housemate 2: The uni student page took 30 seconds to load this morning.
Housemate 1: ...that's really WEIRD.
I can't download music. It gets a little way in and then slows to a crawl and then stops completely. Pictures take forever to load. We're on BROADBAND. It's the beginning of the month, so we can't have passed the OHOHOHO YOU USED UP YOUR LIMIT, HAVE EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW CONNECTION mark. How come she gets 'net that works?
We have an Apple wireless router box thingum and she has an iBook and we're on Windows laptops, but...it was working okay a few months ago.
APPLE CONSPIRACY. We should start killing penguins. Wait, that's Linux. Um. I don't know, I'll have some kind of William Tell crusade until I get my music back. Wah.
