(For my own reference, because I can't work out how to use Microsoft Word on this sodding Mac LJ is an effective storage mechanism)

# BIRTHDAYS when?
# find setup of school year from previous post and apply to calendar

Breaking the 'net drought for a precious hour or so for purposes of my sanity. I have reduced my twelve handwritten pages of notes to nine handwritten pages of notes, organised paragraph-wise, which must somehow become a 2000 word essay by Monday. I am a master at putting off writing essays. Coloured textas were deployed. Also complicated notation systems. Also lists. Mmm, lists.

Still not venturing onto any sort of IM program, but as soon as university stops imposing on my education I'll get back to you.

Apologies go to any antichrists currently requiring a father figure, as well as a certain redhead who is stuck in Turkey.

Sam has a link to a moon phase calendar which covers a whole heck of a lot of years, so should be on there - guaranteed to be at least one full moon on Jan 1

Capsicum = bell pepper, yes. If it's for cooking they usually mean red pepper, if for salads then green.

Leg ham... usually means slices of ham, from anywhere on the leg. It's a pretty broad term.
