So Great & Beautiful -- The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian -- 8514 words
Over her shoulder you gaze down at the beginnings of a painting which looks nothing like the view from the window, but is instead a silhouette which you recognise from another picture, in a book shown to you long ago. Cair Paravel in shades of orange and gold; just an outline, as though it were being viewed through water, but beautiful.
Basically it's Caspian/Peter and Caspian/Susan and kind of Peter/Susan as well, with everything being a great big metaphor for Pevensies/Narnia. ALSO, THERE IS DANCING.

_leareth and I are going to a food festival, and everyone who bullied me into finishing this fic (thank you! it worked!) can read it and tell me how much of a dork Caspian is.
