So here's the thing, right; after being inspirationless for days with the exception of a bizarre Constantine drabble, I have suddenly been hit in the face with a Remus/Sirius epic which quite fancies itself as a potential project for my holidays. I will maintain that this is

schiarire as well because it's always her fault. Her Thomfic was so good it broke the dam holding back my creative juices. Or some other charming metaphor. Um.

My question is - would anyone actually read it? I have never been involved with the HP fandom as such, and I know a huge portion of my flist will probably snorfle and pat me kindly on the head and wander away to read something of greater value. And if I'm going to embark on a huge project and ignore my original fics for a while, I want to make sure that I'll actually have something approaching an audience.

Abstract: Long and lighthearted and slashy and very probably full of attempts at deliberate wit and descents into insanity. I can't write porn. I overuse quotes and semicolons. I get carried away with my own cleverness even when it's not all that clever.

Any interested parties are please to be commenting and being encouraging and possibly giving me some kind of crash course on the basic structure of the British school year *eyes

A beta is basically the equivalent of an editor - someone who will go over what I've written and find little typos and whack me upside the head for having sentences that are too long or characters that don't sound right...
