I don't like the coast. I've never liked the coast. Everyone but me thinks beaches are the best places in the world. Bah humbug.

Translation: I'm off to the ANU campus at Kioloa for the weekend, which involving lugging a camp bag to my lectures tomorrow and probably hideous unhealthy things like SWIMMING and PLAYING IN THE SAND and SUNBURN.

*shudders daintily* Maybe I can claim my hairdresser won't let my hair come into contact with salt...

I hate the beach, too. I love the water and love swimming, but hate the beach. My mother used to mock me, because as a child, I'd go into the water, and then go back to the hotel instead of playing on the beach. I was just as happy with the hotel pool as I was with the ocean. As soon as I was old enough to stay by myself for a few days at a time, I was no longer required to go on any family beach outings. *hugs*
