I hate the beach, too. I love the water and love swimming, but hate the beach. My mother used to mock me, because as a child, I'd go into the water, and then go back to the hotel instead of playing on the beach. I was just as happy with the hotel pool as I was with the ocean. As soon as I was old enough to stay by myself for a few days at a time, I was no longer required to go on any family beach outings. *hugs*
