So that whole being-pleased-with-my-timetable thing?
Guess I forgot that chem prac sessions hadn't been added yet. Oops. Three more hours. There goes my free afternoon.
Total? 21 hours a week.
(8 of which are chemistry, dammit. Chemistry and I have been arch-nemeses for a very long time.)
And as the gods' way of telling scientists to stop mucking around with the universe, Arts students only have 12 hours/week.

The tute tests, take home assignments and stuff they give you, especially in first year, usually covers your revision pretty well. If do your work during the week in first year and you'll find free time on the weekends (or even during the week), and the same is often true for 2nd year but less so.
The worst bit is 3rd year, and for you, honors because the extra reading really feels like EXTRA reading especially when combined with assignments and weekends often go down the tubes. You'll look back at 1st year and think how breezy was. Anyway I survived and I'm not as smart as you so you'll be fine.
Just incidently here's a Handy Hint: when doing tutes preference only put a first preference and give a reason why you can't do other tute sessions (work, lecture clash etc.) and you'll always get first preference. The only exception is when they have sign up sheets and it is first come first served. People are often too honest and give more than one preference and they end up getting shitty tute session times.
