Good Lord, I only went out for one afternoon and night! Seems I've missed a grand assortment of dramas and fun memes and messages and fic and probably a few other things that I skipped over because my eyes were turning to jelly.

However, I've discovered that one bottle of cider and one gin and tonic is enough to entice me to do kareoke in front of a full bar. The two boys who I went with were both embarrassingly good singers, but I got a lot of applause for 'The Rose'. And [livejournal.com profile] queencattabby and I went sort of wild with feather boas and did 'Mickey'. Eheheheh. And then our entire table did 'Bohemian Rhapsody', which is great because you just have to wail into the mic and nobody can hear you over the loud backing guitar track because they're all attempting to sing along at the top of their lungs.

Keep in mind that I have no idea where some of these came from. I can reliably attribute some to [livejournal.com profile] crazylittleme and [livejournal.com profile] disc_sophist, but the rest are a mystery. I think the little buggers like breeding in my icon folders.

Man, I love that eyeliner icon. Makes me sort of miss Jeannie.

I do not know how I have missed out on accumulating icons with pretty body parts on them. Obviously I am not frequenting the right circles. *goes and nabs some from the meme*

Hey it's the (extremely) poor man's louis armstrong here. I can see Rommers as being seen as an embarrassingly good singer...I'm just an embarrassing singer fullstop. Thanks for the complement anyway though! ^-^ (hmmm not used to verticons but when in rome...). I was rather proud of my bum note at the end of "Have you meet miss Jones" though!
Hope to see you again sometime soon.
By the way I was inspired by you to create my own blog a few months ago but I was too embarrassed to actually inform anyone other than rommers. After karaoke nothing seem that humilating anymore. this is karaoke's beauty, it puts things in perspective.
