well yes, why not?

Well, they're never going to be all finished for Christmas Day. And because there may be a precious window of onlinity, and because Ji did it first (*is sheep. baaa.*) -

For [livejournal.com profile] dredpiratejenny:

Playing Games - Enjolras/Grantaire.

(Please keep in mind that Ji and I share a brain and so managed to produce two stunningly alike fics practically independent of each other. Hope you don't feel cheated or anything, my dear.)

Apparently, we also share enough brain to backdate in exactly the same way. o.O;

I FORGOT THAT YOU HAD DROWNING. AND MANY OTHER THINGS. THEY ARE MORE SIMILAR THAN I REMEMBERED.

BUT THIS (http://petergreenaway.co.uk/seine.htm) HAD TO BE UUUSED. *pleads guilty, so guilty*

Apart from my inability to be original: you have many Hugo-y moments of which I am envious. It is all very, very pretty. :)

I posted your gift! We are properly exchanged! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

Those last few lines especially just kill me. I am so honored to have inspired such a lovely, intelligent rethinking of Enjolras and Grantaire. It's like Frenchboy confetti! Um. That made sense in my head. Not so much when I typed it. But I'm sure you know what I mean. Bright shiny celebratory things falling from the sky. Yay!
