I'm finding my way back to sanity again
...though I don't know what I'm going to do when I get there
Name Those Lyrics, whee. Siobhan, you don't count.
School is OVER, semester is OVER, House Music is OVER (thanks to everyone who complimented me afterwards *^_^*) and I only have two more terms and one more set of exams to go before I graduate. This would be much more exciting if I wasn't so bloody exhausted. I find it exceedingly unfair that on the first day of holidays I feel very tired and uninspired. Watch me rhyme. Apparently extreme fatigue is one of the aftereffects of the illness I had. Bah. Also watch me speak in sentence fragments because they take less effort and scraping together of brain cells.
I've decided to do some reading in the three weeks of no schoolwork that have been granted to me, and have done some rather optimistic borrowing from the school library. Virginia Woolf's Orlando, Sarah Waters' Fingersmith and a collection of Australian short fiction. Also going to have a look at my mother's classics shelf and attack some Peter Carey, because if he's won the Booker Prize he can't be all that bad.
shineko? Did you see the challenge @
togakushishrine? The world conspires in favour of our unhealthy plotbunnies, I swear.
Was going to do some writing, but I think I'll go collapse on my bed and sleep for a hundred years instead. Anyone tries to wake me up by kissing me, they DIE.
I've discovered I'm not as much of an incurable romantic as I once thought. I am yet to think of a way to blame fandom for this, but I intend to find one.
[Ali, Liz and Eugenie - if you read this before I ring you, you're invited to my place on Tuesday to watch the OC and go opshopping and order pizza or something so I don't have to cook. Check with parents. It'll cause problems if I'm not allowed to drive you places.]

All of my icons are Beatle icons, but this one is my favourite.

The school library had Sarah Waters books? I feel gipped now, I only borrowed some photography books and 'Oscar and Lucinda'.
Dammit.

Oscar and Lucinda is one of those ones that I am planning to read. I think my mum owns a copy.

So far 'Oscar and Lucinda' is very, very good. Lucinda is adorable, running around in bloomers. I keep on seeing Ralph Finnes and Cate Blanchette as Oscar and Lucinda because that's who play them on the movie. I think we have the movie as well. The movie is on my 'to-watch' list.

That's because the world is finally seeing the light and realize that crack isn't all that bad :P

Now I just have to think up a way that it could be even remotely feasible.

Come over in the morning. After 9 would be best but I can drag myself out of bed earlier if need be. Ring Eugenie to work out lifts/buses, maybe..?
