well I told you I'd do it, told you I'd do it...

Oh God, I'd forgotten how much I love this musical. Its songs make me want to shout and cry and dance and sing and laugh.

I remember iceskating to 'Red and Black' wearing a French revolutionist outfit. I remember singing 'One Day More' with Karen at Gang Show rehearsals, both of us trying to sing all the parts of a ten-or-so part song between us. I remember dressing in red and dancing to 'Do You Hear The People Sing' in GS 2000, when we made the French flag with our bodies. I remember walking up and down the beach on a windy day singing 'Stars' and 'On My Own' and 'I Dreamed a Dream' until my voice gave out. I remember 'Lovely Ladies' being my first introduction to the idea of prostitutes and the cruelty of life. I remember watching the video for the first time and my heart hurting at the beauty of it. I remember seeing it live at a West End theatre in London and clapping so hard that my hands were red for hours.

I remember Eponine making me wish I could sing so much better than I can, I remember Enjolras making me fall in love, I remember Phillip from Playschool playing Javert and making 'Stars' one of my favourite songs ever.

I remember Bry skating to 'Little People' :D

And now I can't concentrate on my study notes, like, at all.

I think I'm in love with Eponine. And Marius' voice.
