Was so cold at the rink today - mist rising everywhere and skaters wrapped up in layers over layers, peeling them off as they warmed up until the barrier was covered with jackets and jumpers.

For those who don't keep an eye on such things - the first chapter of my new original fic is up at mercurial_wit. Proper-length chapter, too, to help me persuade myself that one day it will be a Proper Novel-length Story.

I wonder if it's a little premature to be counting down the days until the end of Term 4 already...
