everyone's a superhero, everyone's a Captain Kirk

If anyone knows where I can find a copy of the text of Jenny Holzer's Interface: Inflammatory Essays, I would be very grateful. They were stuck up on the walls of one of the conservation workshops at the National Gallery, and impressed me so much that I immediately Googled the first line of one and found out what they were.

Fear is the most elegant weapon. Your hands are never messy.

One driving lesson safely accomplished, 11 out of 22 competencies passed :D I can now do that push-pull steering thing, brake better, and am still getting confused by the indicator being on the right hand side. I'm a European car snob, me.

Off to try and remember what the hell the Bronsted-Lowry theory of acids and bases is.

Ah man, everyone's learning to drive. I feel all left out, or something. Maybe this just means people will have to drive me places.

I know how you feel too, man. I can't drive. I haven't even done the Road Ready course. *pats*

Jenny Holtzer, hah! She is brilliant. I used to have a poster of hers (or rather, a sentence photocopied to a dark red sheet of A3 paper) that I bought for a trifling amount at the ArtCologne many, many years ago, the only time I was at that trade fair, with art class when I was still in school. I wonder where that got to? I fear I have been throwing away lots of old paper when I moved 18 months ago as my last place had a basement with little stalls for everyone, and this one hasn't as the Metropolitans live in the cellars...
