I can see so much of me still living in your eyes

Am in an insanely good mood for no apparent reason. I've typed up the theory for my physics prac, and will do so for my chem prac soon. Mrs Clark has ironed out the wrinkles in my maths knowledge so hopefully the inclass tomorrow will be fine.

However, the sheer amount of work coming upon me is staggering, so I'm not quite sure why I'm feeling so buzzed. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, though.

Good news good news! Family is going to Queenstown in NZ for a five day skiing holiday this July. And I get to stay here all on my lonesome if I want to! *cheers*

Watching CSI tonight. I am certain that nothing can live up to the sheer perfect OMG YES!!! that was the last ten seconds of QaF last night, but I'm in a television mood.

Sometimes I've been to cryin' for unborn children
That might have made me complete
But I, I took the sweet life and never knew I'd be bitter from the sweet
I spent my life exploring the subtle whoring that cost too much to be free
Hey lady, I've been to paradise, but I've never been to me

*loves this song in huge amounts*

I've decided that Jeannie's chirpy nature is taking over my mind. She's ecstatic because she gets to sing for Tomjon, and I think it's rubbing off.

Ah, the TJ and his growing number of fangirls...*grins*

She has something of a crush on him, but it may disappear when she discovers his personality.

when she discovers his personality

You mean arrogant but very, very nice and romantic underneath the haughtiness?

Jen's sort of a first-impressions gal. So if there's too much haughtiness she'll give up and move her attentions elsewhere. But maybe TJ will appreciate someone who doesn't angst. *giggles*

I dunno, would her angst be theatrical and pretty? 'Cos that kind he can admire.

From afar.

[identity profile] fahye.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Jen's angst would probably be theatrical in that it would involve temper tantrums and screaming and sulking. I don't know if you could class that as 'pretty', though.

[identity profile] schiarire.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Screaming?

Oh, crass.

No, TJ doesn't want to see.

I thought as much :P

In fact, come to think of it, he likes his own angst best.

Huh.

What a surprise!

Pity, he and Jeannie could get along very well indeed if they were both in the right mood.

[identity profile] schiarire.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, they could.

Could they be galpals?
ext_21673: (Default)

[identity profile] fahye.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
That could work. Jeannie would probably put up with his woes because he can act so well.

[identity profile] schiarire.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Huzzah!

And he doesn't like to share his woes much either, so there wouldn't have to be much putting up with. :D

Oh, I don't think there will be that much. TJ likes attention.

Hei, great! Characters can so take a ride on you - I did mention having my brain eaten occasionally? But the good part is, if they're really going, you get to ride on their energy in turn. "Rubbing off" is one thing you might call it.

It's funny how many people are picking up on the haughty because, really, every time he does that it's in strikeout and no one can actually see it...
yakalskovich: (Default)

[personal profile] yakalskovich 2004-03-30 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, funny, really. Tepp thinks him totally friendly and sincere, if a bit stilted or monosyllabic if he has problems with someting. And, you know, he probably is friendly and sincere. People are haughty in strikeouts in real life all the time, you know, and it works. It's called keeping your thoughts to yourself. I do it with my boss all the time, and you probably do it with your teachers...
ext_12491: (Default)

[identity profile] schiarire.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Ye-es...which is why it's funny that the haughty has been mentioned.

I'm only haughty at deserving teachers, like the ones who don't know what turnips are.

[identity profile] pteppicymon.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm haughty at my colleagues and call them users. But I'm haughty straight out and actually working at reducing the haughty here. No good regarding them as little disturbing biological units hanging on unbidden to the ends of MY NETWORK. They get so angry. Not good for the network...

*giggle*

Tomjon will be all right. He's a great character.

Hee! You're kind of a geek. :D

[identity profile] pteppicymon.livejournal.com 2004-03-30 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Erm, yes. I'm doing a job a bit like Ponder does with the PC system. That's why I was so on about "would never abuse Administrator privilges" etc. when Tepp was especially heavy on the strikeouts; I was making nasty in-jokes about my own job. The thing about ditzy Gimel selling advertising, too. We have that kind of people at work.

That's what one does private jokes for - to not giggle about them while nobody else even notices a joke has been attempted. A bad habit my sister and I have, and a really lonely hobby, in fact.
