Am almost about to fall asleep on my keyboard, so I'll be brief.
* Swimming carnival was hot, noisy, unorganised and adorned with a scary friend-collapsing-from-heat incident >_< However; no more ever. Yay.
* Schule friendsen - if you're coming tomorrow can you PLEASE let me know. I have Diet Coke and promises of ubercheesy pizza *waves foodstuffs* And whilst I do enjoy spending time with teh Tink it would be nice to see some more people as well.
* Ji and Vik... a 15-comment conversation about candles and someone called Steve turned up in my inbox. Um. I'm going mad from curiosity here, would someone like to explain?
* Got the next two Demon Diary volumes today. Will read them tomorrow.
* Saw Mona Lisa Smile and it was lovelier than any movie has the right to be. Not a simple story; brave and complex and unexpected and with real people. And Julia Stiles *adores* The quote that we found so wonderful was:
Charles-the-nerd: My parents tell me that my future is on the horizon.
Connie: Well, maybe you should tell them that the horizon is an imaginary line that recedes eternally as you progress towards it.
Gracias to Ji for feedback on my odd ficlet *hugs* I needed some kind of reassurance that I wasn't just babbling crap.
My hands are shaking and my eyes are about to close. Updating might be a good idesakjhfskajfffffffff.........

But mostly the conversation was about how Ponder and I were going to fight physically for the affections of Dead!Scrope, which Ponder does not want.
I'd forgotten LJ emailed all the replies to all the replies one's post. Not because I have that function turned off, but because LJ does not deign to email me anything, ever.
Re:
I've been hearing a lot about Dead!Scrope, but why either you or Ponder would want his affections is beyond me...

We shall sit there with our large bottle of Diet Coke and our cheesy pizza and it shall be glorious. I'll ring Eujar and see if she can come *crosses fingers that her mother is in a good mood*
