Finished CB at last...
Yep. Sad 'n all that.

Julia would have been MUCH more effective as a love interest if she had actually had a PERSONALITY and had been given more than five minutes of screentime. Bloody ridiculous. I was more upset when Shin died, though mostly because Shin looked a hell of a lot like Aoshi, right down to similar clothes and bad-turned-good. Hell, SPIKE looked more upset when Shin died. He got over Julia pretty damn fast.
Beginning to suspect Spike of being the syndicate slut, back in the old days. Obviously shagging Vicious. Very probably shagging Shin. And didn't Shin have a brother...?
Best scene was when Julia met Faye and the two DIDN'T HATE EACH OTHER, in defiance of convention. Also Faye getting upset when Spike left - when I finally work out how to cry again, keep me away from guns, because THAT'S what it's going to be like. Lots of yelling and destruction. Also the bit where Ed leaves and Faye is lying in the ruins. THAT was sad.
Question: what DOES Spike say just before he dies? It sounded like "bang" or possiblythough-very-unlikely "faye" and now think it was probably meant to be "dream" *scratches head*
Idiotic thing is now Faye is stuck with Jet and they'll probably pull each other's heads off within a week and then go their separate ways and be lonely and sulky. Spike's such an idiot. May even be reduced to searching out dodgy S/F fics and clutching them to my breast in denial.
Come on, people, I KNOW that you're not at school...which does not AUTOMATICALLY mean "online", but still...
