White Collar, historical AU!
I am...being good and not doing this meme, as I've got too many fic ideas already (current thing I'm working on? Natasha is a hacker and a SHIELD agent when Clint, contract killer, is sent to kill her, and makes a different call. It's way too much fun. It's also so very, exceedingly gen, and if I ever write it, fandom will hate it. *headdesks*

As I have not yet decided how Emily and Tee eventually transform their long, long insult-ridden conversations into makeouts and unexpected romance, I could totally whip up a story in the best traditions of the trope. The reason for forced bed sharing is likely to be a conspiracy between Pru, Steph and Bastian, who encourage them to attend a conference in Cardiff on hardware-software compatability and advances in tissue tech, and then book them into the same hotel room.
(Bastian has to be talked into this. Steph points out the fact that of the three of them, he is the only one who has actually been part of a REAL CONSPIRACY, ie. automata insurrectit, and surely this is a mere walk in the park in comparison?)
Emily expects Tee to offer to sleep on the couch. Tee is not even slightly a gentleman, and does not. Emily rolls her eyes and takes the couch, which is uncomfortable, and that lasts about half an hour before they decide that it's stupid to conduct an argument about the keynote speaker's credentials all the way across a room.
About halfway through the night Emily decides that sleeping with him would be a LESS VIOLENT OPTION than putting up with how much he kicks and wriggles, and also, his bedhead defies physical laws and is kind of attractive for that. She wakes him up by elbowing him very hard.
