Hello DW! I have not forgotten you! In fact, I'm in the sort of mood where I bemoan the fragmented nature of fandom on Tumblr and yearn for a good old comment thread, so here I am.
The weather was DISMAL today, something like 4 degrees when Dad and I went to the market, and raining. I've responded by making sticky ginger syrup cake and mulled wine to warm everyone up, and I'm planning prawns in pomodoro sauce and feta, with grilled zucchini on the side, for dinner. FOOD. God I love food.
I've also started unfucking my room, which has been excellent. As ever I pine for an apartment of my very own so that my bookshelves could exist in a single-stacked state for the first time in their long-suffering lives, and I could fit everything on the walls.
Oh well. Time to shell some enormous prawns (seriously, the tiger prawns at the market today were MOFOS) and then sit here in my much-neater room, sip my delicious mulled wine, and bang my head against my Natasha fic some more. It passed 10,000 words yesterday, that's something.
