weekend update

It's been a good one! Right now I am drinking tea and watching MasterChef episodes, and I keep glancing sideways to the bed where lieth my new red leather jacket. It cost an absurd amount of money and I adore it and I am going to be a bitching Emma Swan at Sydney Supanova.

I also made a blueberry swirl baked cheesecake; it was one of those agonising recipes which include the step and now refrigerate for 6-12 hours so it's been sitting around looking delicious for all of last night and all of today, because one of the downsides to living with your parents is that silly food rules like 'cheesecake is not appropriate for lunch' are enforced.

My excitement about visiting Boston and New York in August is reaching astronomical heights. Closer to the time I will try to organise things with specific people (I have lost track of how many fannish people I know in Boston but I think the answer is: A LOT). However, if you have any strong opinions about things that I should see/do in these cities, speak now!

Also on the agenda tonight: try to translate some of my ever-growing opinions about Loki and Clint and Natasha into fic outline form.

But thank you for the warning. I can only hope this turns out as well as when you were like WATCH X-MEN, THEN YOU WILL WANT TO WRITE RAVEN FIC, and that was exactly what happened.

I have highly developed sensors for things that may make you want to watch fic. I'm like a Geiger counter of that shit! And the Queen + creepy brother = needle goes out of control.

How is words pact going . . . ? I WROTE NOTHING AFTER THAT HAIKU. But I also worked 12+ hour days every day. ;_;

I obviously meant write fic, not watch fic . . . WHAT WOULD THAT EVEN MEAN. Is it different from reading fic??

Well, yes, me + any evil queen, there was already a 95% chance I would be ALL OVER THAT, and if she has dubious chemistry with creepy brother as well as with Snow White, BONUS \o/

Word pact was a complete failure this week on all sides due to universe-suckage; we're calling do-over starting tomorrow :) Speaking of which, BED FOR ME.

YAY \o/ I want to get my money's worth here, return flights between Sydney <-> the east coast of the US = ludicrously dear. Therefore I need to see eeeeeveryone :) I'll only be there in early August; before the 9th.
