where the mountains meet the sea
Oh man, Sarah Rees Brennan has a tumblr now, THIS IS TERRIBLE. I am still holding out valiantly when it comes to joining the site myself (no, Fahye! BAD, Fahye!) but the more awesome tumblrs I end up following on GReader, the sillier this life choice becomes.
The problem with SRB in particular is that she is very good at making me feel motivated to tear at my hair, wail, and write ('I finished 32 books before Demon's Lexicon', she says, blithely.) but TUMBLR is very good at hoovering up the spare time in which I might otherwise be writing. Sob sob.
Anyway, after some fruitful hair-pulling, I now have 900 words and a scene-by-scene outline done on my Yuletide fic. (The plotting process moved a lot more smoothly once I gave myself permission to start killing characters off.) So I feel no guilt about going off to make a pot of tea and read Emma until it's time to start putting together some pad thai for dinner.
