Current state of me:

- in Canberra for a few days off, which has been a lifesaver in terms of ADEQUATE SLEEP

- pleased because my mother and I have finally, finally gotten my dad hooked on the Discworld novels

- in a roiling state of constant indecision re: Yuletide! I wish I had my assignment right now so I could start making gleeful overambitious plans

- newly auburn-haired; what with it being summery enough for my blindingly white shoulders to be exposed to the world, I apparently look Irish beyond belief at the moment

God, no, nominations still haven't happened yet. Therefore my indecision. (What to nominate? What to request/offer??)

Oh thank fuck for that. Sound a bugle when it happens? I plan to nominate Warrior, Tinker, Tailor and perhaps As Meat Loves Salt, and those shall be what I offer. Requests? Hrm. That's harder. People invariably let one down, so it's good to be general?

I have been eyeing the strategy post so I know I don't need to nominate the Newsflesh series (which I am going to offer AND request) and as for the others... I was going to offer Sucker Punch but there's only one story I want to write for that, and it's a crossover with Inception, which is not entirely in keeping with the whole Rare Fandoms thing.

To my shame I am FAIRLY SURE I will involve the new Three Musketeers movie somehow.

While I think the trailer for that film looks expressly like dog poop, I do also think that world-building-wise it must have a whole metric fucktonne to offer fanfic authors. :D
