1) Australia changes passport laws to allow people to identify their sex of choice. HURRAH FOR MY COUNTRY.

2) Yuletide? We're talking about Yuletide already?? My feelings are equal measures of YAY and AUGH. As usual I'm not sure what I would write; I have not exactly been fannishly active lately. (Although I might even take part in nominations this year, because of my desperate hope that someone might ask me to write The Lady's Not For Burning fic.)

3) Mark Watches is doing BSG at the moment. MY FEELINGS. It was hilarious when he hit 'Black Market' and got all confused at the fact that it was utter crap, and now he's up to 'The Captain's Hand' and I am remembering all the fic that fandom wrote about Lee being on Pegasus and Kara being on Galactica, and... I miss that fandom! I miss PILOTS! I miss overanalysing Katee Sackhoff's facial expressions and bewailing the deteriorating show quality and churning out epic amounts of fic through the sheer force of my shipping.

4) I am rewatching Bones. SPEAKING OF THE SHEER FORCE OF MY SHIPPING <3

5) I am completely besotted with this song at the moment.

I love it! It has a bit of Beirut and Sufjan Stevens in the sound, which I never thought I'd be saying about the Killers.

The Killers being one of my favorite bands, I was happy (even though I enjoy how they usually roll, sound wise?) to see them try different rhythms and structures. I might be effing up the words exactly, but:
