Yes, I am 75% of the way through my medical degree, guys. 'Fourth year' starts in a week and a half, by which time I will have moved out of Sydney and off into the wilds of semi-rural NSW.

My plan for tonight involves an extremely long, hot shower to get the enormous screaming knots of muscle tension out of my back, and maybe reading some of The Famished Road, and maybe whacking my head against my WIP until I can get Arthur to cooperate. 14,300 words in and I'm still in the 'everything about this story is SHITE' place; it'd be nice to move past that.

Think of all of the textbook pages you've read and hours of studying since then. LOL
How much longer do you have left and have you settled on your choice of specialty yet? Up here, med school proper is 4 years, after which residency begins which adds on anywhere from 3+ years depending on the speciality and sub-specialty. But at least during residency the baby docs (as my sis fondly called her husband's class) get a salary.
