SO. EXHAUSTED.
I spent the entire day wandering around Cockatoo Island dressed as Female Steampunk Stephen Maturin for a photoshoot with a whole bunch of incredibly talented and creative people <3 Wonderful day, although it's been a while since I was laced into a corset for eight hours at a time. I've just had the longest hottest shower of my life and my back muscles have grudgingly begun the recovery process.

ryokophoenix (a.k.a. the Glinda to my Elphaba and the Ty Lee to my Mai) was the Aubrey-ish airship captain to my Maturin (are you...sensing a pattern?) and also spruced up my costume by throwing together a kickass armband of gadgetry. Some of the tools made me look less doctor-slash-naturalist and more doctor-slash-serial-killer but hey, life is tough in the military.
The photographer has to edit all of his shots, but I'll make sure to post a few good ones here when I get hold of them :)
