I've had one since I was, oh, fourteen, and have never found a use for it. My mother tried to get me to use the brushy-side to apply vaseline to my eyelashes, which is apparently WHAT WE DID BACK IN THE DAY WHEN WE COULDN'T AFFORD MASCARA, but that just gummed my eyelashes together.
