Uni open day; people on tours of the College keep sticking their heads in front of the door to the Fairfax room (to which I have retired in order to study in peace, ha ha), as though I am some kind of fascinating exhibit. Or perhaps someone hired to look Studious so that the parents feel reassured that they will be sending their little darlings to a bastion of scholarly pursuits instead of a den of alcohol and ever-more-ribaldly-themed parties.

I am thiiiis close to posting the next chapter of the heist AU. Number of months that have passed between chapters: many, lots. I have become one of Those People. I hate Those People.
~
But first! Studying. I am listening to a playlist called 'soulharbour' which is one of my melodic, soothing, pretty playlists. It needs some new additions.
Current tracklisting:
The Corrs -- Long Night
Sarah McLachlan -- River
Vienna Teng -- Augustine
Over the Rhine -- Born
Lisbeth Scott -- Where
Kaiser Cartel -- The Good Ones
Pocahontas ST -- If I Never Knew You
The New Pornographers -- These Are The Fables
Alanis Morissette -- Wunderkind
Carrie Underwood -- Ever Ever After
Tori Amos -- Pretty Good Year
Charlotte Gainsbourg -- The Operation
Regina Spektor -- The Call
Dido -- Take My Hand
Missy Higgins -- The Sound of White
Bjork -- Hyperballad
Loreena McKennitt -- Stolen Child
You can probably assume that if it came out any time in the last few years, I won't have heard it, because I am a dirty pop-ignorant heathen. Introductions to new artists in the same vein of the abovelisted would be awesome.

I'm terrible with lyrics when I study or write; the lyrics end up in the text if I'm writing. Not always a good thing.

Idan Raichel -- "Mimaamakim" (except he's a boy... is that okay? all the singers on your list I recognize are female, but you didn't specify. But it's sooo gorgeous)
