It's my hiatus and I'll dissolve it if I want to!

Currently elbowing their way into the life of Fahye:

- RFA in a week's time (all neurology, all endocrine, smattering of gastro). Study is on track, I think (thus: hiatus-dissolution), though I will declare right now that neuropharmacology is the bane of my existence.

- Supanova the weekend after that. My Mai costume continues apace, and the secret costume of supreme awesomeness will be constructed by ryokophoenix over the next week.

- I am in the throes of embarrassing, unwieldy, overwhelming love for Farscape, having finally acquired the second season and designated it my sewing-entertainment.

- Plus I have the normal urge to write a few million things.

YES. I am in the episode where Crichton tries to have a conversation with Harvey at the drive-in cinema of his mind, and Harvey bitches about it.

I think one of my favourite things about the show is the fact that Crichton is not constantly playing straight man to a bunch of wacky aliens. He is batshit insane of his own accord.

Through most of S2 I was grabbing my seat-arms and half wishing they would stop NUZZLING and TOUCHING and HUGGING because how the hell can people be that hot when they are not actually in any kind of relationship, THE UNIVERSE WILL COMBUST.

Yeah. YEAH. In the DVD commentaries they do together (which are numerous, thank the Lord), Ben and Claudia joke about the John/Aeryn Physical Proximity Alerts. And I know you haven't seen a ton of kissing yet, but holy hell, they kiss prettier than any ship on the planet.

I wish there was some way to capture the GENIUS of 'Out Of Their Minds' in icon form, but the humour is so physical. (nfakjsdhsadk boobjiggling)

I don't mind! I have seen up to 3x03, so anything up to there with smouldering looks or little smiles or, um, those leather vests. And if you stumble across any scenes of Chiana being awesomecakes, I wouldn't mind an icon of her either.

The end of "Out of Their Minds" is the happiest scene in the whole series, omg I love it so much. I'M A GUY. GUYS DREAM ABOUT THIS SORT OF THING.

Currently I keep rewatching the end of 3x01 -- partly for the kissing, sure, but partly for the HILARIOUS NOISE OF FRUSTRATION John makes when Aeryn is all NO NO WE WILL NOT ACT ON IT, BAD IDEA, PEACEKEEPER TRAINING.

Hmm... for me Farscape was one of the shows I wanted to write (and read) fic for as soon as I got into it. Actually, until BSG I wrote more for Farscape than any other fandom. On the other hand, in later seasons, when more people did get into writing fic, I didn't have as much desire to read it anymore.
